Job Summary :
The Team Member-Legal will have the following Key Responsibilities :
* Conduct research on contracts & related domain and update the team through knowledge sharing sessions, First level preparation, review and vet all legal contracts and submit to supervisors: Identify potential risks in contracts and share inputs; Maintain records as per internal policies and processes; Lead the filing and documentation activities for all legal contracts and related documents
* Conduct research using legal databases on litigation and real estate related domain and update the team through knowledge sharing sessions; Assist team leader in preparing documentation to contest all legal issues before statutory and regulatory authorities; Conduct first level review the litigation plan and lawyer’s approach to handle the issue in case of litigations; Appear with counsel before court/ tribunal/ arbitrator as required; Brief external/ internal local counsel, as required; Lead the filing and documentation activities of all litigation and related documents; Participate in first round of review/due diligence of the property premises; Prepare first drafts of lease deeds and submit to supervisor for review
* Conduct research on company law matters and update the team through knowledge sharing sessions; Prepare first level draft resolutions; Participate in filing and registering of various documents (returns, declaration attestations and applications); Assist in maintenance of secretarial record, statutory books and registers; Coordinate board, committees and shareholders meetings; Prepare first level drafts of meeting agenda and minutes of the meeting; Participate in resolution of issues regarding transfer and transmission of shares.

Competencies :
* Contract drafting skills
* Knowledge of Contract Act, Labour Laws, Consumer Protection Acts, Company Law
* Knowledge of Commercial Litigation
* Knowledge of court procedures and proceedings
