Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced recruitment of assistants for its offices across India.RBI does not need any introduction as it is the premier bank of India that is responsible for framing policies,help the financial situation for sector & provide adequate safeguards for the nation`s economy.Above all, it is from here the coins & currencies are issued.The head office of Reserve bank of India is at Mumbai.

Assistant – 1000 posts (across 17 cities) – scale of Rs.8040-20100
Eligibility
The conditions for those applying to Officer jobs in RBI,
Aged between 18 – 28 yrs as on 1.03.2012 (add 3yrs for OBC/ 5 yrs for SC/ST)
Should have min.50% aggregate marks in degree (UG), as on Mar 1, 2012
To posses knowledge of computers (MS-Office,Word etc)
Degree to have been obtained from university within the limits of the office to which you are applying
Selection
The Written test for RBI assistants recruitment shall be objective type for 200 marks.
Candidates must secure minimum marks in each test to qualify for Interview, where those who based on vacancies, they will be shortlisted as per merit ranking (high to low)
The marks in written test & interview would be considered for final selection.
How to apply:
Eligible candidates must visit rbi.org.in & fill the online application form by entering the required details,uploading photo,signature etc.
On successful submission, take a print of the application & fee payment challan.Also remember to note your register no. & password.
After 2 days of applying online, pay application fee of Rs.385 (no fee for SC/ST/PWD) at any branch of IOB, BOB, Central bank, PNB, United bank, BOI using the given challan before March 27.There is also facility to make online payment from RBI website.
